Adaptive adjustment of control gain parameters for current loop, speed loop and position loop

The SED series can automatically generate the optimal current loop control parameters based on the electrical parameters of the motor. It can also automatically adjust the gain parameters of the speed and position loops as well as the damping filter parameters for different transmission types, different system rotational inertia, and different processing stages. Customers only need to set the necessary processing-related parameters such as transmission type, electronic gear ratio, and processing speed. Compared with fixed gain parameters, the processing effect of the new algorithm has been significantly improved.

Set-up time comparison

Compared with the conventional fixed gain parameters, in addition to the aforementioned improvement in processing effect, the positioning time is also significantly shortened under different mechanical transmission types, with the maximum reduction reaching over 60%.

Response bandwidth comparison

The SED series features a FOC calculation duration of less than 1us. The current loop response bandwidth reaches the industry-leading level, while the speed loop’s ultimate bandwidth can reach up to 3.2kHz. The position command follows more quickly.
