Motor

The IE3 (China’s 3rd level energy efficiency) ultra-efficient three-phase asynchronous motor developed by our company is an energy-saving product independently designed and produced based on the energy efficiency grades stipulated in IEC 60034-30 and China’s GB18613-2020 standards.
IE3 ultra-efficient (same as the US NEMA Premium at 60Hz).
The current production of our company’s IE3 motors with efficiency at 50Hz, 60Hz, 2-pole, 4-pole, and 6-pole have a rated output power range of 0.12kW to 7.5kW.
The operating mode is S1 and they can be directly started. It is widely used in various transmission machinery industries.

Structural characteristics

There are 7 different base specifications ranging from 0.12kW to 7.5kW.
The direction of the outgoing wires from the junction box can be customized according to the user’s needs.
The overall structure is compact and the appearance is square, which changes the traditional round casing in the market. The fixing bolts for the front and rear end covers adopt an invisible design.
Low-noise silent bearings are used, making the motor run more smoothly and with lower noise.

The main raw materials used

The motor housing for 0.12kW to 7.5kW is made of die-cast aluminum alloy.
The shaft material is 40Cr steel.
The electromagnetic wire uses QZ-2/155 and QZY-2/180.
The stator and rotor cores are made of DW470 and DW600.

Surface protection

The outer surface of the motor is all treated with powder coating.

Insulation

All three Kai motors are of insulation class F and temperature rise class B. The maximum allowable ambient temperature is 40°C, and the minimum ambient temperature is -15°C. Users should make requests if the values exceed this range. The temperature rise assessment limit is 80K by the resistance method.

Description of Dual-frequency Motor

The dual-frequency dual-pressure motor produced by our company has a frequency of 50/60HZ and a voltage range of (380V – 420V) / (440V – 480V). When the frequency is 50HZ and the motor is connected in the “Y” type configuration, the input voltage can be used within the range of 380V to 420V. When the motor is connected in the “△” type configuration, the input voltage can be used within the range of 220V to 240V. When the frequency is 60HZ and the motor is connected in the “Y” type configuration, the input voltage can be used within the range of 440V to 480V.

All general-purpose motors follow the unified manufacturing standards.
The structure and installation type are specified by GB/T997-2022, corresponding to IEC60034-7.
The output power and installation size tolerances are defined by GB/T4772.1-1999, corresponding to IEC60072-1.
The electrical specifications are given by GB/T755-2019, corresponding to IEC60034-1.
The enclosure protection class is specified by GB/T4942-2021, corresponding to IEC60034-5.
The noise is defined by GB/T10069.1-2006, corresponding to IEC60034-9.
The vibration is specified by GB/T10068-2020, corresponding to IEC60034-14.
